Reviews
There is no open-air bath and the facilities are not very luxurious, but the food is delicious, the customer service is good, and the cost performance is good, so I have used it many times.
Previously, when I was unable to stay due to some circumstances, I was very happy to receive such wonderful support and kind words from you. I will definitely use them again.
The Kuroge Wagyu beef for dinner was very delicious. All the dining staff provide great customer service. Breakfast is normal. There are popsicles available after taking a bath.
The room has a very relaxing atmosphere.
It is a pity that there is no open-air bath.
The food was very good, and was the best part of the trip. Unfortunately, I cannot say the same for the onsen. The men's and women's baths are limited to a side-by-side standard bath and a "milky" bath. During our trip, the cold tap on the bath faucet for the milky bath was stuck on, and it was lukewarm that evening and downright unpleasant the next morning.
There are no outdoor baths, family baths or private baths, there isn't even an onsen towel to take home and add to your collection. Just two perfunctory baths, one of which was uncomfortably cold during my visit. For the price this place charges, and it's not cheap, that's unacceptable.
Regarding the food, it's "Italian". Italian in the sense that it's the kind of Italian you'd be served at a wedding factory where the fake church and reception dinner are on different floors of the same building. That's not a complaint, just the best way I know of to explain what you're getting, which was the best part of the stay.
Complementary coffee is available near the main desk at checkin, but you can only get coffee with breakfast in the morning.
I get that some Japanese may tire of the traditional onsen experience. Give me a outdoor bath, family bath and/or private bath with an onsen towel, and maybe the Italian meal would be a nice twist on tradition.
Unfortunately, a single working bath ruined the trip. Mentioning this at the front desk lead to a hastily scribbled note and a, "We're so sorry. We hope you don't catch a cold."
While I've only stayed at 8 ryokan from 2000 onward, this is definitely in the bottom half. For what we paid, definitely a disappointing experience.
The rice was delicious.
Unfortunately, the bathroom is not that big and there is no open-air bath.
Naturally flowing water from the source is a luxury♪
I was able to soak in it slowly.
I was satisfied with the room and amenities.
There are plenty of services, including a welcome drink and an all-you-can-eat ice cream box in front of the hot springs.
You have to bring your own yukata,
I was impressed by being able to choose what I liked.
I wish they would have pulled the futons in the Japanese-style room.
Also, there are no convenience stores nearby, so
For travelers with many companions, alcoholic beverages, snacks,
It would be very helpful if you could buy sweets, cup ramen, etc.
Alcohol was sold in vending machines, though.
It was good point
・Nothing other than hot springs
Bad points
・Dinner is served in two shifts and the time is not flexible.
・Lay your own futon
・No open-air bath
- Poor view from the window
・Poor waiter service
・The dinner menu is not listed on the website, and you cannot choose appetizers, etc., so if you don't like the ingredients, you will be stuck.
・Souvenir corner is small
General review
・I think it's best not to expect much from the service given that it's a cheap business hotel. The waiter's behavior was unpleasant.
disappointing.
Used by two people. Of the 17 rooms, I used a 38 square meter twin room, which was spacious and spacious. The hot springs have milky white sulfur springs drawn from Owakudani and a Jacuzzi bathtub, and although it is not large, it is sufficient for this capacity. Dinner was a Western-style course meal, and the main dish, Sendai Kuroge Wagyu beef steak, was very soft and delicious. Thank you for responding to other dishes when I told you in advance that I don't like crabs and shrimps. The serve staff explained the dishes and talked to me comfortably, which made me feel good.
During the former Ryokufusou era, it was a homely place for families (suitable for families with small children), but now it feels more luxurious.
It's a convenient location, and the food is delicious.
I usually stay at this inn when I stay in Hakone.

[Impressions] It seems that the source is drawn from Owakudani. The morning bath was lukewarm, so I added hot water to adjust the temperature myself.
The next day, we took the ropeway to the Owakudani museum and learned about the origins of hot springs.
Dinner was a full course Italian meal with exquisite sauce. It took us about an hour and a half to enjoy the meal.
The rooms are spacious, so if the Wifi reaches the room, I'd give it a 5 star rating.
However, if you go to the navigation street, you will be guided to the parking lot below, and you will be left and right. . .
Even if you drive here, there is quite a climb and narrow road, so you need to be careful when driving.
